Maisonneuve College offers a 45 hour course on GEM-CAR
The renowned Maisonneuve College, located in the heart of Montreal, is taking a lead role in initiating an industry first, by introducing and integrating GEM-CAR, a leading Quebec automotive repair shop management software, to two students groups in a module aimed a the System Integration.
Maisonneuve College receives more than 5500 students into its pre-university and technical programs and answers the combined training and educational needs of more than 10,000 young and adult students yearly. Under normal circumstances, students receive top quality theoretical training in software application and the integration of various management solutions. Rarely do they get the opportunity to live and witness in real time &real life, the implementation of these business solutions programs. To this end, demonstrating once again its leadership role, Maisonneuve College has accepted a proposal from Mr. Mathieu Brunel, President of V2V Technologies, to train students in the use and implementation of the GEM-CAR (visit www.gem-car.biz) program , a leading automotive repair shop management software in Quebec. Based on a 45 hour course, students will visit over 50 automotive repair shops and help determine needs and solutions, including establishing key performance indicators.
Once the results have been compiled, the findings will be presented to the participating automotive repair shop owners along with the GEM-CAR management software on February 26 and 27th. After which, students will be fully involved with the GEM-CAR team in the implementation of the management software at more then a dozen automotive repair shops.
